We need to do the research so we can bring one or two of our guns to Nevada and have an extra Range day.  The new range in Henderson is $20 - ALL DAY - extra shooter is $10 - ALL DAY - and you get 1 handgun ultrasonically cleaned for FREE for each shooter.  Plus they have a place at the range where you can get a burger while you are there.

Storage can be offsite at my house if you are worried about having a gun at the hotel.  There isn't a law I can find about it, but you might not want to open carry while sitting at the slot machines or tables - just to keep security from getting nervous, or asking you to leave.  CC if truly hidden shouldn't be a problem.  But why do it when you are in a casino?  They have cameras and security everywhere.

All airlines allow for transportation of handguns in approved cases as checked baggage and ammo too.  But it would be easier to buy the ammo in Vegas.  Probably the best explanation is at Southwest Airlines.  Just do a handgun search on their FAQ page.

Something to think about and plan for if interested.

Ray, sort of.  After looking at California (where I have lived since 1978), I decided California isn't where I want to retire due to all the "SUNSHINE" taxes and regulations.  My wife's brother lives in Henderson, NV and I would send her (or drive her) up there to stay with him and his wife.  I would also take time off from work and stay there with them. They used to live here in San Diego and we were always close and did things together.  Then he and his wife moved to Henderson, which began the "weekend trip" up that way.

Seeing how I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed with California and their taxes and cost of living, we decided to look elsewhere where we can retire.  Family in Henderson, retirement tax friendly, cheap real estate, low taxes...... Well, we made the jump.  We bought a house and live about 20 minutes from the Strip.

So yes, we live in Vegas.  If you count an 8 minute drive Vegas City Limits.  [smile]

Rick, I hope I don't violate a terms of service for posting an outside link.  But it is worth checking out.  Cris and I will be donating a lot of metal to this range from now on  [smile]
