I think the recent ones for me is Cujo, and It (the Original).  Something is really wrong with Stephen King's brain.  Seriously.

Today’s movie - THIR13EN Ghosts - 2001

A demented scientist and his assistant search out and capture 12 deadly ghosts. Mind you, he’s not doing this to help anyone but himself. The ghosts plus 1 live, willing sacrifice will power the devils machine letting him see and control the future.

The graphics can be very bloody and at times even gross, but, seeing the lawyer cut in half by glass doors is really pretty cool.

Today’s movie - 28 Days later - 2003

This is a British move that takes place in London and the English countryside. A research center forces monkeys to watch lots of violence infecting them with an inhibitor creating the Rage virus. An animal rights group breaks in to free the monkeys and becomes infected. People turn extreamly violent extreamly fast and it is spread by biting.

Then it jumps 28 Days later and a guy wakes up in the hospital and there is no one around. After leaving the hospital he runs into some other survivors and their survival is hampered by the infected and by uninflected who are trying to get by, even though they are a bit insane.

Today’s movie - World War Z - 2013

In this Zombie flick, Brad Pitt is an ex-trouble shooter for the World Health Org. He has quit to spend time with his wife and 2 daughters when a plague turns people 10 seconds after they are infected.

His old boss recrutes him to take a scientist to Korea to look for patient zero. The trip takes him to Israel and then Wales before he finds a way to fight back.

I really enjoy this movie, I think it’s the most plosible scenario of a Zombie appocolispe.

Sorry I didn’t get around to a movie on Friday.

Today’s movie - Priest - 2011

In this vampire movie, vampires are a predator spiecies that evolves alongside man. Wars with them are fought through out history. Then mankind, under the guidance of the church, finds the ultimate weapon to fight them - the Priests.

They all but destroy the viampires, so they think, but one of the priests is captured and the vamp queen shares a gift with him, creating the first human vampire. He is bent on destroying the priests he believes left him and enslaving the humans.

He miscalculates and abducts a girl who turns out to be the daughter of the ultimate priest, who defies the church and goes to rescue her. He is joined by the sheriff who has fallen for the missing girl and a female priest, who secretly loves him.

Well, the October Horror movies came to a screeching halt early Tuesday morning.

Monday night I got a call from my sister at 9pm that they were taking my mom to the hospital with breathing problems.  After 2 more calls at 11pm and 3am, they moved her to a larger hospital, that is a bit closer to me, by ambulance, and I headed out at 3:45 beating her ambulance by about 10 min.

I've spent the last 2 days at the hospital.  Things are not looking good, but, they could be a lot worse.

Time will tell.

Thanks, just starting day 4, she’s on a ventilator and sedated. They’ve found a mass on her liver, but, until her kidneys improve, they can’t do an MRI to determine if it’s benign or not. They test her each morning to see if she’s ready to take the tube out, but not yet.
