Mansions of the Lord - This is one of the most beautiful memorials that you will ever see. If it doesn't bring a tear to your eye, you aren't alive. It gives us much to think about. The loss of these soldiers is a terrible price for any nation to bear.

I do not judge you for your beliefs or your faith or your lack of it but if this doesn’t bring a tear to your eye, you are missing something!

We may not have always been right, but we died for what we believed in. We don’t have to apologize to anybody! Yes, we have been wrong. Yet, we have helped more people and done more good than any other nation in the world.

We need to keep working at doing what is right, now more so than ever!

Hdshogan, you are absolutely right on target. Today's society is so unaware of anything of value as they believe the almighty dollar will make them happy. The problem is, by the time they realize it, it will be too late.

They are not learning anything of value in history and thus we are doomed to repeat it. I will give you a couple of quick examples:

a couple of months ago I was talking to a young Marine about history, and I asked him to questions:

question number 1: are we still at war with Korea? his answer was no, but the truth is we are still in a legal state of war with Korea.

question number 2: are there any similarities between the 1930s Germany and the United States today? answer was no, sadly however there is a striking similarity between 1930s Germany and the United States today.

If you think the questions and the answers are wrong, I can actually show you where the answers that I have provided are true.

(If things seem disjointed, I am trying to use the speaking portion rather than trying to type thank you.)

Proof that the liberal left doesn't understand the sacrifice of the members of our Armed Forces was just recently, when it was more important for the president to go golfing and fundraising than attend the funeral of an Army General, the highest ranking officer killed in AFG.
