While many of you will travel this Memorial Day weekend for BBQs, time at the beach with friends and family.

I ask this one small favor, when each of us enlisted we each gave the government a blank check valued upto and including our lives. Many of our Brothers and Sisters paid the ultimate price, so I humbly pray that we each take a short time and remember all those Veterans that have been called to our Lord.

My memorial weekend didn't turn out like we planned.

Friday morning while I was loading the trailer, I took a break.  While taking that break I had an episode.

I didn't know where I was, what I was doing, what day it was or where my wife was.  My heart was racing, I couldn't remember the code to get into my phone to call my wife.

I pulled out my blood pressure monitor and took my BP.  I swear it read 263/120.  I was able to call the one number I could remember, my wife's work number via the emergency call feature.  She called an ambulance and the neighbor, who sent her 17 daughter over.

The EMT took my BP when they got here and I was still mid 190's/100's.  This was about 11 am.  After a ride to the hospital, an MRI/MRA and blood tests, they sent me home at 2:30 with no idea with what happened.  By 2:30 my BP was down to low 170's/low 100's.

We wound up staying home and close just in case.  Saturday I was still having some issues with headaches and irritability.  Sunday was more normal.

Friends and family have mentioned that they or someone they know have had the same issue.  So be forwarned.

The investigation continues.

On Tuesday I saw the DR.  She ordered an ultra sound of my neck thinking that maybe a plaque buildup resulted in a piece breaking off and flowing to my brain.  She also ordered some more blood tests.

I had the ultra sound yesterday and heard back from the DR last night.  Minimal plaque on one side and the blood work came back normal.

Today I'll see about getting in to see a neurologist.

Us Nave guys are hard to figure out.

I hope you are better now, and they are able to find out what’s going on.

Well, the neurologist thinks that it was caused by very high blood pressure.  Dr thinks the very high blood pressure was caused by panic when I didn't know what was going on.

Both agree that I need to stay on the blood pressure meds and watch for it to happen again.

Other than that, no one has a clue.

Good grief! I hope you get better soon. I said a prayer for you.
