Land of the Rising Sun has recently reported that Apple is readying two different types of the dubbed iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display for a September launch. According to Japanese financial newspaper, Nikkei, sensors and display parts have already begun being manufactured by Apple component suppliers in China. This report lines up with previous reports that say there are two different sized strategies for the upcoming iPhone.

Although there has been many rumors that Apple will be releasing a new iPhone over 5 inches, well-connected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities says otherwise. Kuo has been very accurate regarding past Apple moves and argues that the company will not be releasing a phone exceeding the 5-inch threshold because of Apple’s dedication to the idea of one-handed use devices.

It has also been reported that LG, Sharp, and Japan Display will all be expected to help produce the upcoming iPhone 6’s Retina Display. The dubbed iPhone 6 is believed to have a significantly higher resolution than the current 326-pixel-per-inch phone according to Nikkei.

Other rumors for the iPhone 6 include a new sapphire-coated display, a significantly reduced bezel iPad mini industrial design, and a 10 megapixel f/1.8 shooter with interchangeable lenses for the device’s camera.

Come on Apple, give us a larger screen. I spend most of the time on Tarawa Forum on my iPhone. I could use a larger size screen.

I heard the sapphire plant will not go into production until June. So, no sapphire screen for the next iPhone. Rolex puts sapphire screens on their watches. It is very hard to scratch them.

I am ready for it NOW! I think I have to wait until around September. I hope Apple start dropping rumors about it. Also, I know some of the companies making the parts will smuggle a picture out of the frame. That will tell us how large it will be.

I just ready an article on USA Today about comparing the iPhone 5S with the newest phone, Samsung S5. The title read, No comparison. It went on the say the new Samsung S5 in the best phone in the droid market, but it does not come close to the iPhone 5S. I get a kick out of Samsung. They tried to name it as closely to the 5S by using S5! That is SO funny. As you know, Samsung has copied so many different ideas from the iPhones. Apple has sued them so many times in different countries where the two phones are for sale. That is just funny!

Apple did not announce any information about the new iPhone this Monday at WWDC! It was all software for the iPhone, iPad, and computers. I guess we will have to wait a little longer for the new specs on the iPhones.

Man, I want a larger screen. Apple, get it done! I'm sitting at my local American Legion perusing our forum, wishing for a larger screen. I'm jealous of the Galaxy S5.
