Keith, did she teach you how to shoot? I would love to have a grandmother like her! I would want to spend the weekends with her every weekend. "Grandmother, may we go out and shoot today? Pllleeeeaasssseeeeee?

Wasn't so lucky, my only grandmother was from Ohio until she passed. Saw very little of her.

My shooting skills were greatly enhanced in the Corps.

I think it was John that posted the picture of the neighborhood being over run by turkeys. We need to get Granny to work, then its turkey dinners around for Christmas.

Talking about grandmas who are good shots from Ohio, this is an interesting story. Years ago, I was at a banquet and shared a table with two old ladies from Greenville, Ohio. During the meal they mentioned they lived next door to Annie Oakley in Greenville. She was retired from her days of entertaining people with her shooting expertise. They said she chewed tobacco and yelled at the kids when they would get in her yard. She was mean, but she loved her dog.

Okay, maybe that wasn't too interesting after all? Ha ha.
