i dont know about most of you. But when i see something on the internet (probably most of the time on fb) i try to get alittle deeper into the story. the problem is, most of the time what i see is wrong.  It scares me to think that some (probably a hell of a lot) people  get their news from the web, are miss lead by "friends" and i bothers me...

when i see a post and do a little research , i am not afraid to share my findings or opinions..    do you confront the posts you see?    in my opinion there should be a bs filter on the web .....  here is an example.

here is the original post on fb.

isis.jpg

here is the information i found on the web...

whats your thoughts?....

I agree with you. Also, I believe we are not getting the full/real story from ALL TV/radio companies. They are all biased and tell their stories slanted to their political beliefs. No one is fair and balanced.

I figure 90% of what I see on FB is BS.

FB
BS

National TV news is probably 50% and local 20%.

I am to the point that I want to see if all these people really leave the U.S. if Trump wins. So far, I haven't seen a single one that I'd miss.

well , whats for sure is we are about to get a new "figure head" ...   id love to push the blame if one individual had 100% control... i always use the example..

i own a farm, but i contract billy to plow the fields...      i ask mark to plant the seed...      and i ask  tim to irrigate ..

two months later  i have a really bad corn crop and people drive by ....   they say " joe cant grow corn worth a shit"

 well,,,   who's fault was it??

the same in government ....   but we have a society that wants a person to point too..    a quick solution to a big problem.     do we really think one person is going to fix this???

maybe trump gets elected, and all the problems are fixed....       wouldnt that be nice...    instead what i think we are going to get , no matter who wins, is a divided country .        and 4 more years of looking for a quick fix, and the solution to all of our problems...

Well, in your example, Joe is responsible, after all, he hired the guys.  [smile]

I'm not pushing Trump, not a socialist and I'm not a Hillary fan.  I'd really like an alternative.  But everyone keeps posting on FB how they will leave the country if Trump wins.

And just for that, I hope he does, just to see the quitters leave.

I'm tired of politics as usual.  I don't want Hillary in because she is so anti-gun. She will upset the delicate balance of the Supreme Court with her selections.  I find it appalling that she can have SCI information on a unclassified server at her house and members of the military are fired/canned/discharged for just compromising security.  Socialism doesn't work.  So at this point, my vote goes to the lesser of all evils.

think we can all agree the system is broken...  i always say pick a religion   and pick a political party and enjoy.    will be very interesting to see how the next few years play out.    I wish we did not need to pick the lesser of the two evils...      thats like picking manson over dahmer.        or vice versa...      out of the entire usa , are these two the best we could come up with ???

Hillary will take our guns away. We would not have another Top Gun event. Also, I know I would not like the Supreme Court justices she would pick. And, she would bring in so many new immigrants, we would not be able to pay for their needs. We would run out of money.

Very true, Rick.  Trump may not be the best, but he is sure better than the Democrats running.  Plus, remember this:  A President has a Staff.  And they Staff guides the President.  Trump stated he will pick a VP with vast political experience.

Also remember, a President is NOT a Dictator.  A President can't make/change Laws.  Only the rest of the Political Machine can.  He can do Executive Orders, but they can't override the Constitution by itself.

So, we must push to have a Republican House, Senate, and President.  Anything other than that will result in nothing but continued fighting.  And if the Democrats are elected as President, welcome to the Islamic State of America.

Just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

Any my opinion, given here, is protected by the Constitution.  Just as any opposing opinion is.

Just throwing that out there.

Peace!

rick, i would agree with loving guns and wanting to keep mine... maybe i am weird , i dont think they will knock on the door and say give me all your guns..  i will ask the question again and wait for the flood gates to open... again this is a personal opinion and i know many will opose this point of view...

as with many things in life we have restrictions.    Speed limits, laws on illegal narcotics, a drinking age.. etc

i look back at the historical context of when the 2nd amendment was written.   i do agree we should be able to defend ourselves.  but i wonder to what extent.  here is a question i always ask and have asked before.

if its made , should we be allowed to own it ?  grenades ( could be used for self defence)   rocket launcher ?    mines ?..        is there a weapon that  we as a population of civillians should not be allowed to own?   and if so , who gets to decide.
we live in a twisted world,   its complicated.

i grew u with a saying " with everything ,comes moderation"

you can own a car, but there are speed limits
you can drink but you must be 21
you can gamble but you must be 18

i wont even mention background checks , because i also believe one thing " today  i might not be crazy, mentally ill , or unstable---  but tomorrow i might be really pissed off "

i like my guns, i like my  having my cwp in nevada ,utah, oregon ...    i would love a national cwp...      but i just wonder if civillians should be able to purchas millitary weapons...  ( if so , should there be a special training class permit etc.     but when its all said and done, the extremist, nut job, or pissed of person will still be able to pop off a few hundred rounds in a couple of minutes...

ok, ready for the backlash  ( fire away) [smile]

I agree with what you're saying. I, also, believe in today's radical Islam terrorist world, it might be better to keep military weapons out of the hands of civilians. Had the terrorist in the Orlando shooting had semi-automatic pistols, while he was reloading, perhaps some of the people in the club would have rushed him. Trump is going to meet with the NRA to talk about it. I think anyone on a terrorist watchlist, should not be allowed to purchase guns.

If we had those laws, would the terrorists still be able to get military grade weapons? I think the bad guys will always have guns.

i agree completely on getting rid of the gun free zone...  and lets add a nation carry permit..        i think terrorists would be able to get millitary grade guns,   just not at walmart/bass pro/ or  cabellas ...     maybe they would need to buy them from a fed dealer

I think the military grade weapons would come in from Mexico. I heard Trump wants a national carry permit. I am just guessing, but I think Hillary would want to get rid of concealed carry permits. Of course, her guards would still have them.

If not sold in America, they will be sold elsewhere and shipped into the US.

I do want a permit, and as soon as I move to Nevada, I will be applying for it, just after I get my Nevada Driver's License.  And make a trip down to a "real" gun store. If they still exist by then.

I believe any politician that is opposed to weapons should not get a concealed permit, and if they happen to have security, the security detail can only be armed with a pocketful of rocks and a slingshot.

Let's start with Boxer and Pelosi.

I think California is too far gone.  It would take Republicans being elected into every local (and above) seat in order to turn things around.  But there are too many libtards here so that will never happen.

I read more and more people are not watching CNN. Fake bias news. CNN is not in the top 25 most watched cable channels. The Cartoon Network is watched more than CNN. Telling.

I watch the news for local issues, local weather, and traffic.  I tune them out when it starts to sound like politics.  I love our local morning team, it is all about local news and local events.
