Well, Gov. Moonbeamidiotstick just signed some of the dumbest laws about guns and wait for it.... wait for it.....  AMMO  I've ever heard.

This is just the second step in the confiscation of our weapons.  Sad, so sad.  I might pull the plug and get out of Commiefornia before I reach retirement age.

I hope the NRA can get some if not all of them challenged in court and lock them up so they can not happen.

I hope so, but I'm not going hold my breath.  Wow. I should have joined the Sheriffs Department when I had the chance.

• Ban possession of magazines with the capacity to hold more than 10 rounds; require people who already have such magazines to turn them in to authorities. (SB1446) (NOTE: Those magazines purchased before the 10 Round law went into effect are no longer grandfathered and must be surrendered.)

• Outlaw assault rifles with a feature known as a bullet button. The feature has circumvented California's assault weapon ban by allowing shooters to use a small tool to quickly change magazines. (SB880 and AB1135)

• Mandate background checks when a gun is loaned to someone other than a close relative of the owner. (AB1511) (NOTE: This means if you come visit me, you CAN'T shoot my gun until you pass a background check. Hope you stay in town for more than 11 days.)

• Create regulations for ammunition, including requirements that ammo sellers get a license, purchases be screened and transactions be recorded and monitored by the government. (SB1235)

• Boost penalties for filing false reports of stolen guns, a measure targeting straw purchasers who buy weapons on behalf of people prohibited from doing so. (AB1695)

Well, that settles that.  I will not be moving out there, ever.  I guess when I left the Navy and California, I took all the common sense with me.  Both have gone down hill.

Montana and Alaska are looking better and better.

And that's why I'm moving to Nevada.  Almost the same climate, no state taxes, no gun restrictions, and concealed carry is east to get.

I would never live in California. The good news is, if Trump wins, Hollywood is moving to Canada!

Well, I just heard billionaire Bloomberg financed a bill to shut down guns in Nevada.

This sucks if it goes through.  I've already bought my retirement house in Nevada and can't afford to find another state with no state/county taxes and move to with a nice climate.

Jo and I will beat you to it.

At least you can drive ammo across from Nevada.

Texas has already started the process to the the US to stick it, if things continue downhill. Given Texas was a separate country prior to joining the US, they have experience.

Very interesting.  San Diego has many challenges, especially lately with the back country just a few miles from my house with the wildfires.  Lots of chaos with this last wildfire and finger pointing.  With my truck, I can get into the back country, haul a trailer and do the people and animal rescue.  And that is what was really lacking this last time.  Also Search and unfortunately Recovery.

I will look into it.  I need to get in shape, because according to the website, round is not a shape.  And I'm really round.
