Mary Lou and I went on a five day cruise with my high school classmates last week. We stayed out at sea for five days with you exception of one day at Cozumel, Mexico. It's always fun going out to sea. We had a balcony for the first time. A lot of memories of my time on Tarawa came back to me as I walked around the ship.

I really like cruising, just wish I could afford it more.  The best part is the at sea days, lounging by the pool, fruity rum drinks and watching the babes in bikini's.

But, visiting Ports I haven't been to is a very close second.

Cris and I want to take a cruise, but she gets seasick easily. She used to get a little seasick when she used to come onboard the TARAWA, CHANDLER, and ESSEX.  While they were tied to the pier!!!

She took a cruise once with her ex, but stayed in the bathroom until the ship docked.

I've heard that too, Gunny. One of the couples I ride motorcycles with has some kind of a special pass where they get a free cruise every 3 months on Disney Cruise Lines.  Not sure how they got it, they won't share details...  But they are always on the Disney Cruise Ships. They stay towards the "Adult" part of the ship, and absolutely love it. No problem ever. Well, there was this one storm and the ship couldn't sail.... But no illnesses, missed ports of call, late arrivals/departures.  So I'm thinking about looking into it.

What did I like best about our 2016 cruise? Let me see... I enjoyed breakfast and the warm sea breezes with my classmates while watching the ocean's waves dance joyfully by our ship. I enjoyed listening and telling embellished stories about our school days at Sidney High School. I liked closing my eyes, listening to music by the pool as the sun warmed my skin. What fun we had sitting together at the evening shows laughing and applauding the ship's performers. How much fun we had at the bars where we gathered and had fun talking about anything and everything. I had fun winning the zumba dance contest at Senor Frogs in Cozumel, Mexico against two zumba dance instructors from Miami, Florida. I enjoyed the waves gently rocking me to sleep at night. But what I liked best about our 2016 cruise was just being with my classmates. I hope more classmates can experience what we all did on our 2018 cruise. Tomorrow is promised to no one. Enjoy and celebrate life with friends today. - Rick

Which continues a thread somewhere on the forum, of the three females on Gilligan's Island, which one would you have spent the most time with?

In the video you will see a building in the background, next to it you will see the American flag flying over the harbor at half-mast. The reason was President John F. Kennedy had been assassinated the day before they shot that film footage. (I read that on Youtube. I don't know if that is correct.)

Then or now, I would spend time with either one of them.  They helped me through puberty [wink]

I was wondering if you ever got out of puberty, Steve. Especially, since you stayed in the Navy for so long!
