Below is part of an email I got from my Gun Club in TV. I don't know if the prices are good. I thought you would like to see what a retirement community of 125,000 people carrying handguns and driving 66,000 golf cars would look like (The Wild West).

Great Deals on Handguns, Long Guns,, Ammo, & Accessories

To get to current classified ads, go to our club's website, http://www.vssclub.org. Then hover over the "Classifieds" tab and select from the dropdown menu. Or just use the menu below:

They are building an indoor gun range and gun store in TV. I am very excited.

I'd be interested in the Taurus .22 Tip Barrel, but you know how it goes in the Democrat Peoples Republic of Commifornia.  [frown]

I need to get a gun safe from my home in Florida. Until I do, I guess I can get a small gun case that is metal and uses a bicycle wire lock to secure my Florida gun which I don't have. I guess I could take a couple of my Ohio guns down there, but I'm not too excited about transporting guns 1000 miles between states. I do have my CCW for both Ohio and Florida.

Check out your local gun store for a TSA approved case and then just toss it in Checked Baggage.  Easy peasy.  Leave the ammo at the house and just pick some up once you land in Florida and leave it there when you leave.

Sounds good, but we have pets we take to Florida. That means we drive 15/16 hours through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. (What people do for their pets!)

Not a problem, your allowed to transport weapons in your car.  No permit required.

Ahhhhhh, ok.  Like Leo said, transport is legal.  Unload it, and put it in the trunk.  No problem.  If ever stopped, declare it to the Officer if he asks and everything will be just fine.

Sounds like a plan.

Yes. The school is a few miles from my home. The school is a very nice. There are no children living in The Villages. The family who owns The Villages built the beautiful school system for the children of the workers who take care of The Villages. If a student gets in trouble at school, the student is removed from school. Sometimes, the parents lose their jobs. We just had a scenario here at one of the local schools in our area in Ohio, too. Sadly, it's happening everywhere in America. I'm a big believer of teachers who are willing to carry, to carry in school.

I agree if a teacher is willing, he or she could protect there students

My daughter is a 7th grade Social Studies teacher (hoping to be an 8th grade History teacher next year).  She and I got our CCW traning taken care of while she was on Christmas break and received our permits just after the new year.

She has stated she would be willing, if they would let her.

I hope President Trump removes the stupid rule of gun free zones.
