Hello!

I've started the petition "House of Representatives and Senate of the United States: National Concealed Carry Permit" and need your help to get it off the ground.

Will you take 30 seconds to sign it right now? Here's the link:

http://www.change.org/petitions/house-of-representatives-and-senate-of-the-united-states-national-concealed-carry-permit

Here's why it's important:

While a citizen can drive throughout the US with their home state drivers license, they cannot carry their concealed weapon. A drivers license is a privilege. Under the Second Amendment, the courts have ruled that citizens have the right to defense outside the home.

In order to ensure that all citizens that can exercise their Second Amendment rights, either all states become "shall carry" states or the legislative branch pass legislation to allow all citizens to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

This has been started to ensure that all citizens can exercise their Constitutional rights.

You can sign my petition by following this link:

Thanks!

I signed it. I also signed three others, including the animal cruelty with trapping and the supporting the wounded warriors.

With the gov the way it is maybe not a good thing having a national ccw then they would have more info on us.

Yep. Good point. Where are our Founding Fathers!

While our government is screwed up to be sure. The issue here is that if you want to travel the country freely as a retiree for example, wouldn't it be great if you had a single ccw that was good in every state, rather than having to have at least 3 in hopes of getting all 50.

We have two choices, a) a national resciprosity permit that would allow you to travel with your state permit or
b) a national ccw license that will allow you free rane across the country.

I think that all states have to honor any state CCW then the Feds can stay out of it.

I voted yes with hesitation. I'm concerned when the federal government gets involved with anything, it goes down the crapper. I would rather be under the jurisdiction of my state instead of the federal government.

I wish our founding fathers could come alive every year for one week. They would certainly use the week they are alive to kick ass on these ridiculous politicians who are running our country!
