I don't see any dirt on it. Do you take it out of the garage?

Yes we do but we only have dust. No snow or mud.

You had it in Palm Desert the other day when we had lunch with Bonnie and Jo.

Lunch was great with you and your wife we had a good time. Maybe if we find more tarawa members that are in the area of Palm Springs maybe could do bigger ones.

Are there any more former tarawa crew or marines around the palm desert area, I am about 1.5 hours from there. So when I say around that's about the range. That may want to get together with Keith and me. With wives also. Let us know.

With wives.................? Hell in that case maybe I can join you guys.....Just Kidding. I'm in Illinois, Lol!

Yesterday I went to get some block over in San Diego. I had some lady not paying attention ran into the back of my truck at a red light. No injuries but need a new rear bumper, it's in the shop already should have it back by Friday.

Monday night, on our way home from the ELKS, the transmission in our Escape started acting up. I thought we might have to call a tow truck.

I took it to the local Ford dealer yesterday morning. I wasn't real sure that I'd make it. Just out of the driveway, there was a loud bang, but, it got there.

The dealership just called, and the transmission is toast. No obvious damage to the case, no missing fluid, but they wont know what happened until they tear it down.

The drivetran has a 60,000 mile warranty, and we have right about 56,000 miles. So it will be under warranty.

I am always glad that if somethings go wrong that it's under warranty. Hate it if it's right after warranty expires.

we're making a trip to Montana the last week of May to see my son and grand kids.  It will be the first long distance trip with the trailer.

Speaking of which, I've got to get the trailer home next week to get things ready.
