You always seem to find a way to try and stroke my ego David, Texas Rangers. That's a good one. Best Thanksgiving Wishes to you and family.

I guess the only way to top that will be to buy you a beer at the reunion. See you there. Semper Fi.

There are a lot of buying drinks for shipmates at the reunions. The bar area is always crowded with a lot of laughing and loud sea stories. The wives enjoy it, too. I cannot wait for our August reunion. Someone not in the military asked me how much does it cost to attend. I told them $150/person. They COULD NOT believe it. It is too low, it is like almost giving it away. Mary Lou and I have done our homework, and we are shipmate driven, not profit driven.

David is one of the nicest Tarawa shipmates. He personally purchased a beautiful, framed picture of Tarawa to give to Grace Tarawa at the 2012 reunion! David, I'll buy you a drink, too. You're the best.

Civilians will never ever never understand the bond that is built in the service. Regardless of service the bond is there and it can and does reach across service boundries. We here are just one of thousands of examples of the service brotherhood.
